Gully Guard™ is the market leader in gully pot drainage protection, offering a reusable solution that helps prevent surface flooding and watercourse contamination while enabling construction sites to comply with their silt management and environmental plans.

Gully Pots are prone to the build-up of sediment and can become blocked and inactive as a result of operational and processing waste, and the silt and debris generated by building developments – the main cause of ground flooding. Installed directly into gully pots or other water transport systems, Gully Guard™ is proven to remove 98% of suspended solids and debris from entering into the existing watercourse.

Gully Guard™ consists of a polypropylene outer sack containing expanded polystyrene (EPS) beads which help to improve water quality by attracting and capturing hydrocarbons, metals and de-icing chemicals from surface water run-off. This not only protects the environment but also helps to reduce the risk of prosecution and costly pollution fines for watercourse contamination.

Independently tested by The Department of Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Sheffield and recognised by the Environment Agency, Gully Guard™ ensures filtered water drains away freely, leaving debris and pollutants securely contained within the unit. Its reusable design means it can be quickly hosed down and reinstated, making it both a sustainable and cost-effective solution.
